We are incredibly grateful to the Maidstone Lions Club for donating an automated external defibrillator (AED). We are currently planning the installation of an external cabinet so that the defibrillator will be accessible to the Hockey Club and Maidstone Harriers.

Alongside cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, AEDs have significantly improved the likelihood of survival following an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. We hope not to have to use it, but the AED will make playing hockey and running from the Clubhouse safer for all.
